These kits can easily be
made into a rag quilt. Simply sew seams wrong sides
together (rather than the normal right sides
together)
with a 1/2" seam allowance instead of a 1/4". Snip your seams 1/4"
after you have your squares sewn together, being careful not
to cut through your seam. You
can use a toothbrush gently while wet to help with the fraying. Your
finished size will be slightly smaller.
